Some of our best flavors are made by accident. My oldest daughter was helping me in the kitchen and accidently combined ingredients that were intended for other batches. Yes, it was my fault for not giving clearer instructions. We were left with a pot of cherries, pecans, apples and confusion. To salvage the batch we splashed it with pineapples, spices and butter emulsion and the result is reminiscent of a southern cherry dump cake that my mom makes. This is a very limited batch because I honestly don't know if I can recreate it again.
